How to Install .deb File on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad: Mobile Terminal
[Steps 2 & 3 for those who are 1st time installing .deb file by this method]
1. Download .deb file ( e.g Lockinfo)
2. Start Cydia
3. Search “Mobile Terminal”
4. Install “Mobile Terminal”
5. Install “OpenSSH” from Cydia
6. Start “MobileTerminal”
7. Type commands as given below:
- su (press return)
- alpine (press return) (typed password would be invisible)
- dpkg -i nameofpackage.deb (press return, exchange “nameofpackage“ with name of .deb file “Lockinfo”)

i’m a bit of a novice with iphones and i’ve tried to download SIManager into my iphone 3GS but Safari won’t download it.
is there something i’m missing?
