8-inch iPad: WSJ reports that Apple planning to introduce an 8-inch iPad tablet. According to source Cupertino, Calif.-based company has revealed screen designs for a new 8-inches iPad device. Apple had launched its latest iPad 2 with a 9.7-inch screen last yearn, now working on a smaller iPad to compete Samsung Galaxy Tab and Amazon Kindle. Source reports that Apple has said screen makers like LG Display Co. and AU Optronics Co. to supply test panels for 8-inch iPad.
